"The Wii Fitters" Report Here on Tuesday!
This week I used Wii Fit 4 days for 30 minutes of exercise and walked 2 days for at least 30 minutes. It takes me about an hour to do 30 minutes of exercise using the Wii Fit but it's a better overall workout than just walking. I'm improving my deep breathing, balance, posture and strengthening my muscles. I've always wanted to learn how to do yoga and so I practice it a few minutes when using a Wii. When Joe and Michelle move I might have to invest in my own Wii system. It still takes a lot of effort, persistence and determination for me to exercise but you are all motivating me to keep it up. Thank you so much!

I would love to join this group! We bought a Wii and the Wii Fit for Christmas.
I have just ordered mine to be delivered in the next few days so hopefully it will take a week to set up and a week to get going lol hope to report in soon DebbieTx
I went to taekwondo Mon & Wed last week (1.5hr/night), the gym Tues night (1hr strength & weight training with a PT, 1 hr cardio, 1hr warmup/cool down), 1.5hr Yoga on Thurs night, & 6hrs of skiing Friday evening. I rested Sat & Sun by cleaning the house, grocery shopping & playing Scrabble with Wayne. hahaha That's my typical week for Jan, Feb & part of Mar, then skiing goes along with the snow.
My problem was not watching what I ate last week or eating it so fast, I didn't have to watch it. hahaha I guess that box of peanut butter chip cookies that I hadn't had in a very long time wasn't such a good idea. Now I'm just staring & drooling at the leftover half of the box. hahahaha
I should turn on my Wii & start playing again. The last time I was on the Wii Fit was Christmas 2008. How sad! hahaha
I'm doing Wii Fit everyday with one day of rest. I alternate 45 minutes of Wii Yoga and Strength training which burns around 120 calories a workout, with 45 minutes of Wii Active. That burns about 170 calories a workout. Two days last week I did both workouts in one day...Fit in the morning and Active in the afternoon. I lost a pound this week. Was hoping for more with the double workouts, but hey, I'll take any weight loss.
I can't afford a Wii fit kit. I am walking and soon I will be going to the pool too swim. That will work too!

You're going to laugh at this one. I'm actually exercising to Jane Fonda's exercise video on YouTube. LOL I know. I know, but it actually help.
I also have a very old exercise show I recorded off tv called Mousercise that used to be on the Disney Channel in the 80s. I used to love that show growing up. I used to wake up like 5:00 in the morning just to watch it. I exercise to that every day.
I also go on YouTube to do Billy Blank's Tae Bo. I haven't done it in a week and I'm going back to that.
I try to exercise 5 times a week for 30 minutes and I really need to do some exercise on Saturday too.
Sounds like everyone is getting a lot of exercise and getting their bodies moving..Great job. Ive gotten a lot of exercise but have not done my bike like I should. Have been doing a lot out in the yard..and also working with my horses..so lots of exercise though. Im so ready for Spring so I can get ni the pool and start doing laps..
Today..back to the exercise bike.

I usually walk on the treadmill while listen to music or watching the Fox news. I like to exercise in the morning or I would not do it. Also, sometimes in the afternoon when i start to feel tired I go and walk.
I attended all 3 days of my weight loss challenge program at the gym last week. One hour each class. Totally kicking my backside, but totally worth it!

Hello everyone......I am a WII FIT BELIEVER.....I work for 30-45 minutes a day.....doing basic step and hula hoop since January 3 I have lost 8 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!! (ofcourse.......I watch everything that goes into my mouth too) My BMI has gone down close to 2 points and I SEE the differance.....waist hips......THANKS WII FIT I LOVE YA

I'm doing the gym thing 3 times a week and doing my own exercises at home on the in between days. Got to get the evening eating under control again though. I too am having fun reading everyones comments.
wish I had a wi fit but I am walking 5 days a week.
