"Wonky's Book Worms" Need to Report Here!
Wayne and I have finished reading our 14 chapters this week. Wayne commented on how important it is to keep reading the scriptures over and over again because every time he learns something new. My main impression on this week's reading was how the Lord knows us individually, is aware of our actions and is involved in our daily lives. We are looking forward to reading your comments about how your reading this week has applied to your life.

I am a bit after ... but will catch you today...
Reporting in on my reading for this week..I got a little ahead (I know I will get behind some weeks.. :) ) I am through Chapter 19 tonight.
I have also figured out..that I need to get large print scriptures..even with bifocals..its a strain reading the small print..
At least on one of the 3 groups I can report job well done..
Have a good night!

Haven't read a thing. Sorry.
Not only does the Lord knows us individually, Kathy but he knows how many hairs we have on our on our head. Can you imagain trying to hide something from Him?
What would you do if you lived to be 900?
I never could understand the book Genesis, but I was so impressed with the people in Genesis lived to be 900 years old. Wow!!!
Plus. God knows our very move and knows where we are. You can hide, but God can always find you.
I'm just now going to be joining the group, so haven't read a thing at this point.

I finished capitel 18 this morning. 900 years old... uh.. please.... I was just thinking that the age of people has gradually become shorter, so I wonder if it could have something to do with it that Adam and Eve just started from Paradise where they might possibly have been living forever, if they had not taken the fruit (jewish say grapes)so it was a change in their bodies and the bodies of their kids stil worked on it for thousands of years.
About the hairs on our head... To my suprise my DHs moon is getting more and more hairy. No more moontrips. All he ahs done is rubbing it with his fingertips when ever possible...
I got a little ahead too. Sometimes when I get reading I lose how much I have read. Genesis is interesting but I am a bit confused on a few things. I wish we were all together so we could actually discuss some things. But I am going to stick with it.
I finished 14 chapters and am also reading 1 chapter a night in the New Testament.
I amyone wants to discuss anything I am willing. Just E-mail me.
When I saw Wayne in Branson last November, he wanted Barb and I (the sisters) to play scrabble with him. I told Wayne I am a reader - not a gamer - so I would like to join this group...I have read the old testament before, my bible has many passages underlined. Better get my highlighter incase a new passage stricks me as important to remember.
Thanks for starting this group...
