"An Apple a Day Bunch" report here for the week of March 1st through March 7th

I stayed the same this week which was a big relief. I thought that I probably gained weight this week since I've been eating out almost every day.

Lost 1.5 lbs. Eating lots of chicken barbque meatballs, apples and pea soup. The meatballs are so good, my husband loves them. Poor guy has been eating chicken and fish with me for a couple months now. He's hinting to a roast so I'll have to break down and make him one and freeze the left overs so he can have beef a couple times a week. I'll stick to the fish and poultry for myself.

We are getting ready to plant our vegetable garden! Can't wait!

I weight 150 pds. :( :( :( It's just too hard for me to lose weight. I'm always, always, ALWAYS hungry. :(

Forgot to weigh last week, but I'm about the same this Monday. Only 1 lb. from where I started first of year. But, considering I ate a whole box of GirlScout cookies this weekend, I guess that is great!

I haven't lost anything this week, but 2 people have asked me if I have lost weight, so must be doing something right!!
To anonymous who said she's always hungry - I know that feeling!

2lbs on this week...:( Still a total of 7lbs lost since the beginning but wish it would go quicker...lol

Been told this week I have an underactive thyroid so hopefully when the meds kick in I'll be a bit easier.

Thinking of all The Osmond family today, especially Marie. xxx

I was doing well for the first half of the week, then I was really stressed and had to have those carbs. I'm afraid to get on the scale now. It's frustrating when you go to Dress Barn and they don't have the plus sizes at certain stores. They sell such pretty Spring/Summer colorful clothes...back to the diet.

Down 1 lb more to 147 now. I've cut back on the amount of food and cut out alot of junk. I still sneak some in every now and then ;) Exercise....let's say I'm taking a break....until April. hahaha

I had my very own "Biggest Loser" moment in our "howbadyawanit" weight loss challenge class last Friday. Got on the scales and had lost 16 pounds over the last two weeks!!! I was totally ecstatic!! FINALLY the scales are moving!!

Wow Connie! If we were giving out awards you'd get it for sure the past 2 weeks. Congratulations! Can't wait to see the new you in Branson in April!!!

Thanks Kathy! I'm working hard on making all sorts of changes, including being more choosy about the water I drink, the quality of foods I eat, and even taking additional supplements I'd never thought of before. And I'm REALLY getting to where I am ready for exercising more! In fact, the other day I was wishing I could go out and run...and you've seen how hard it has been at times for me to even WALK, let alone run! Now, I am not up to actually just going outside and running, or even jogging, but I am doing more in class every day. Hopefully by the time you are here in April the changes will be even more noticeable!

Dear Kathy

I have not lost any weight for March. I lost 3lbs in February. I have a suggestion. That might help us be more accountable to one another. It would help us focus on what we are eating more. A lot of us are struggling. Like Me. What if, on our weekly post we write a short bit about the best day we had the previous week. What we ate and the exercise we got. Or what ever inspired us to do good that day. Kind of like a mini journal of when we are doing our best.

I like your suggestion Mary. Those that would like to include their best day, what they are eating and what kind of exercise would be great! I'd love to hear what works for others. I've only lost one pound the last 3 weeks but I know why. I haven't been as disciplined. Everyone keep up the hard work! Maybe Connie can give us some tips too?
