Adam has been giving me lessons on how to use my MacBook. It's so cool I can't believe that it has taken me this long to switch from a PC. I have my favorite websites all on one page and just switch back and forth right where I left off. I can close the computer to take a break and then open it up again later to continue. It's so easy to get online. So fun!!!
Wayne is watching penguins on his favorite channel - Discovery, under his electric lap blanket. He loves to watch all the animal shows. He likes me to sit and watch TV with him so I'm glad that I have a computer to play with while he is in awe of the animals

Wayne's typing isn't going too well. I asked him and he says he needs to start practicing again. I think he lasted about a week.

Wayne is a busy guy, singing and being a grandpa - we will cut him some slack. I know I wouldn't be practicing my typing with grandbabies around!!!

Paul's typing lasted about a week and then he gave up. Men's fingers don't move that well. Now, on the other hand, my brother took typing in high school and can go a mile a minute - HAH!!! Good to see you're enjoying your new MacBook and seeing that Wayne is relaxing and enjoying his free time. We're both lucky that we have someone in the family who knows computers - Paul is the IT guru and has helped me a lot and never gets mad if I "break" something - HAH!!!
Enjoy seeing photos of your lovely family! Your lucky Wayne likes watching Discovery Channel, my hubby watches Food Network so I have to leave the room...LOL! Sometimes we switch to Travel Channel, but they have food segments too certain times. While I'm on the subject of Travel Channel, we'd like to take the family someday to Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida. I'm sure Wayne would love it especially if he is interested in Sea Life. My 3 teens are begging us to go snorkeling with the tropical fish and to learn about and swim with the dolphins.

Wayne sounds like my Rick, under his blanket & watching TV. Mine loves History channel & all the WWII stuff. We also love How it's Made & Mythbusters. I bought an Apple ITouch that goes online so I do the same as you multi task while being in the same room. It's being online, catching up on magazines or cross stitching. I never just sit & watch TV.
Aloha! I've had to learn to be computer savvy as my husband has 'little to no patience' with the computer when he gets home from work. He's on the computer all day at work. My family loves to watch the Discovery Channel. Glad Wayne is relaxing and enjoying his free time. my husband, Danny, is into youtube on the computer....luckily I have my own so I can do my thing while he does his...Wayne reminds me of my dad in that he loves watching the animal shows also
I love it that every night Dad is either playing scrabble online or watching Discovery Channel!
Wayne can play a guitar and sing. And he can fill an auditorium full of paying fans that want to see him, so I figure typing is maybe an extra skill that he can work on in his spare time.
Does he at least share his warm lap blanket with you? For Christmas I received a Snuggie to keep me warm on the couch. Being from Texas, I don't need to use it very often.
