Maia has turned 8 years old and decided to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are so happy that she made such an important decision. Yesterday, Maia, was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She's such a darling, sweet granddaughter. Wayne and I are really disappointed that we weren't able to be in California to attend her baptism. We love and miss her so much! We wished that we could have been there to participate in one of the most important events of Maia's life. Doesn't she look like an angel?

Kathy how many grandchildren do you and Wayne have? I am sure her baptism was a wonderful day. To have her father do the baptism and confirmation is a memory she will carry for the rest of her life.
I hope Wayne is taking this opportunity to rest while the family is Samira for the dedication of the cabin.

Yes, Maia does look like an angel. Over the weekend I worked with the 8 year old girls and boys making their First Holy Communion in our church. All the girls looked like angels in their white dresses and veils. They all sing like angels too....love the sound of children singing! Hope Maia enjoyed her special day, I'm sure she missed her Grandma and Grandpa.
