We didn't rent a car here in Branson so we have been walking almost everywhere. Even though I walked at least a 1/2 hour 6 days this week I'm probably not getting as much exercise as I do at home. Living in a hotel room you don't have to move very far but I'm still trying. How is everyone else doing?

Walking is good!! I haven't been doing as much as I should but took a new class at the gym where I work. It is a TRX class and you work with straps. Your own body weight is your resistance. boy is it ever a good intense workout!!! My triceps are still sore from thursday and I got another class tonite.
As for me, I'm so glad to finally be able to get in the pool again. I have exercised in the pool 6 days this week. 3 of those days I exercised for at least an hour each. While I haven't seen positive results on the scale yet, I hope the scale will start moving down again very soon.
My husband and I started walking a few weeks ago, but didn't this past weekend...Saturday I resembled a ZOMBIE doing as little as possible! It was awesome! LOL.... I enjoy playing tennis and being outside, when playing it doesn't seem so much like exercise! I usually travel Tuesday thru Friday so I do understand it being more difficult in a hotel. The hotels I stay at on a regular basis that I feel more comfortable I work out on their treadmills/bikes etc. My husband is not crazy about me doing that...he worries about me traveling...alone/female etc.. He is a sweetheart! For a while I packed light weights and was doing floor exercises in the room... I need to get back into that habit!
Hi Kathy that is so great you are walking everywhere. I managed to do my 10k run in Glasgow on Sunday. It was so inspiring with 13,000 women there, all doing a warm up at the same time (so much fun) and all running for different causes. It was hard but along with Annie we are 71% toward our £500 fundraising target for CMN. As Merrill says "Reach for the Stars and Believe". I think, walking is much better for you, my knees hurt a little today! Keep up your good work!
