Last week Adam accepted a great job offer in Salt Lake City which starts February 1st. Adam, Sarah and Noah are going to be moving into our house until their home is vacant. When they moved to Chicago they rented their home to a lovely family and the lease isn't up yet.
Michelle, Joe, Wayne and I have been working hard trying to clean out the two bedrooms upstairs for them to stay in. The one bedroom was Michelle's growing up so she spent countless hours the past 4 days going through all her papers, clothes, drawers, shelves, etc. Even though it has been a big job I think she had fun reliving many memories of years past. Because today was her first day back to MBA school at the University of Utah she was trying to get everything done before school started again.
I had moved most of my family history books, folders and research into that bedroom so I've been moving everything to shelves and file cabinets in the basement. We're getting organized which is really great! We're really excited to have them come stay with us and hopefully they will be here when their newborn baby girl arrives in May. We are so blessed!

I know you are happy to have your kids and grand babies close to you!!! Yeaaaa!!! Congrats to Adam and Sarah and Noah!!!
That's great, Kathy. So 3 of your 5 children are now in Utah. So I'm guessing Amy and Greg are the only ones out of town.
I'm glad they are moving back home. I remembered when you told us that Sarah and Adam were moving to Illinois. Welcome home to them. That's two days before my birthday.
That is great!! I know how it feels to have your kids move back home. Congrats to them and hopefully everything will run smoothly with the move. Cleaning for this reason is really fun and having grandbabies in the house has got to be a blast!!!
congratulations to Adam and the new job and yeah for you with them moving back closer to you. More grandbabies close by to hug on!
As you've been moving one family back in, I've been moving my son back out! LOL....The side of the house where my kids bedrooms are has changed so many times in the last few years back and forth from bedrooms to an office to husband 'man cave' back to bedrooms....I've lost count! Ha!
Now that my son will be gone again it's going back to 'man cave' for my husband! Not that I don't enjoy watching some television with him, there is just so much sports I can stand!! LOL...
I'm sure you will enjoy your time with more family while they are home! Good luck to Adam with his new job!!
I'm so happy for you Kathy. I know you and Wayne are very happy to have your kids back home. Enjoy all of your time together! :)
Cleaning out and reorganising your home can be so theraputic! Great to hear the family will be near you again.
Congrats to Adam on his new job. I know you're very busy - but don't forget to do Wii exercises (of course, cleaning/organizing is good exercise too) - LOL!!!
Enjoy the family time...
Kathy,
Just moving the family history book, folder and research can be a job and a half. I know I have moved mine a couple times from place to place..now it's all in the basement but not very well organized. And I'm up stairs now with my computer...oh well stairs will keep my legs going..I hope!
Hugs,
Charmaine
