After receiving many emails, comments and messages about the passing of your parents and loved ones I felt that this video might bring some comfort and hope to those that are experiencing the loss of someone dear to them or facing their own struggles and worrying about their own mortality.
I'd be interested in reading your comments about this video. Knowing that my own mother emailed me this talk about death reassures me even more that when my parents have graduated to the next life they will still love, watch over and be concerned about me.

Thank you for posting this Kathy.my son's birthday was the other day(dec 30).He would have been 18.He passed away at 8 weeks old from SIDS.I have long discovered that death is not an end but a new beginning.I dont fear death it is the only way I will be joined with my son again. My only fear is leaving my other children behind. So I guess I have to stay until they are fully grown! In reality this life isn't that long compared to eternity and as Mother Osmond once told me "Rather than dwelling on your loss appreciate those you have now and try to imagine the glorious reunion you will have with the others when the right time comes!"
Hi Kathy,
I am not LDS but, I found this video comforting and thought provoking. I hope Marie has watched this video as I think it would be helpful to her.
Thanks Kathy for posting. It was very interesting and thought provoking. I have BYU channel and have watched a few shows to learn more about LDS. The more I learn the more I am confused about how some people say yours is not a Christian religion because clearly it is. One quick question if you will. The speaker often quoted ? Covents and Doctrines I think he said Is that part of the Book of Mormon? or something seperate?. I was raised Methodist and I know we have our "doctrine" which is basically the believes of the church. but the speaker was quoting chapter and verse. I am just curious. Thanks.
The Doctrine and Covenants is a different book than the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon was written to convince all individuals that Jesus is the Christ. The main focus of the Doctrine and Covenants is to build up and organize the Church of Jesus Christ and to bring people into harmony with God's mind and kingdom.
