I just read Laura's latest post on her blog and she said that she has lost 70 pounds! Wow! I love all the support that Laura is giving everyone and all the ideas, suggestions and comments. Thank you Laura! I've gone 4 days without sugar and soda.
I'm following Laura's blog, too! She's such an inspiration! So far, I've managed to stay away from soda & sugar for the past 5 days or so. When I crave something sweet, I eat a piece of fruit or go for a walk, or something to take my mind off of it. Thanks, Kathy & Laura, for all your encouragement & inspiration! You gals are awesome! Wendy :o)
I am sooo proud of all of you!!! You all are doing a great job!!!! This is much funner to do with friends than to do alone!!! And thank you all for joining my blog!!! I am anxious to hear results come Feb to see the weight everyone has lost!!!
@Wemdy S....Wendy I never would have thought I could ever inspire anyone....I have been so broken my whole life. So thank you for your kind words. They mean more than you will ever know!
Hi, Laura! I's so cool of you to do what you are doing. Stay strong! You CAN and WILL do it!!!! I'm rooting for you, girl! :)
It's so hard for me to stop eating chocolate donuts or plain M&Ms at the movies. I try and I try; but, it's just too hard for me. I've gained 6 pounds? :( :( :( Gosh, I sure wish I had you motivation and strength.
What do you do when you crave sugar? Can you give me some advice?
I have gotten so behind on the blog! I have enjoyed catching up this evening! Laura you are doing great, and everyone else losing! I've not shared my full story, and went about my weight loss by having a lap band in Oct. 08... When I started looking into the surgery I was in size 24 to 26 and weighed 260 at my heaviest!! Since the surgery, and yes I humbly applaud anyone who can lose on your own..... I am now a size 10 and try to stay around 150. Even with the lap band you have to make healthy / good choices and watch what you eat as well as exercise just like everyone else. Primarily the band is most useful to lose that first 75+ that I had gained and lost back and forth for years! Sooooo.... Keep going! You can do it and will feel so much more alive when you reach your goal!! :)
