"The Wii Fitters"

Are you getting a lot of exercise this Summer? I've mostly been playing with the grandchildren but it's more exercise than just sitting in front of a computer. That's looking at the bright side. Sarah has a program that we are going to start on Monday.

Has anyone done the Abs Diet for Women? It's a six-week plan to flatten your belly and firm up your body for life. It's worth a try and with Sarah maybe I'll actually do it?

What are your goals for the month of June? Does anyone want to go on the Abs diet with us?

I work in the yard and go for walks, so I guess I'm doing pretty good with the exercising. I don't think I could handle the Abs Diet. Good luck with it Kathy, if you and Sarah decide to give it a try.

I have heard about that book...

A volunteer told me at work( this should be my lesson, Kathy..Never listens to what volunteers tells you...they don't make sense sometimes) one day,

" You don't need to exercise. You don't have to lose any weight."

Okay, so I don't...I kinda felt offended by that remark so I just gave her the god honest truth.

"Its not about just losing weight. Its about being fit and healthy. Its about living a healthy life style."

I love hiking and doing the treadmill.

Got the right book now, am going to look it over today - will start with you and Sarah tomorrow. Watched calories pretty well last week - dropped 5 pounds!! Now that it is coming off again I think it will be easier to keep going.

Good luck to both of you! I've done well to maintain for a good long while now. In my book maintaining NOT gaining is always good! I am going to try to do EXTRA good this week since it's the week before we go on vacation! NO diets allowed on vacation! I'm seeing lots of seafood and ice-cream in my future that week! I will probably need an official diet when we get back!!

Loved the pics of your grandchildren....And to all the poets, I've enjoyed reading and been inspired by the talent of your readers!!

Have a GREAT week!

I hate exercising, but walk everyday to work and back (about a mile and a half each way), so treat that as my exercise. My daughter keeps going on about getting the Wii fit but I don't know when I would have the time to fit it in so seems a waste of money. Good luck to everyone who is attempting any kind of exercise :)
