The last couple of days I have spent mostly reading. In the evening I've been sitting on the balcony outside reading so Wayne can turn up the television as loud as he wants. Last night I finished reading "Northanger Abbey" so I'll start reading "Persuasion" this morning on the airplane. It was interesting how much class distinction was emphasized. I really enjoyed reading about the time period and the social environment that surrounded Bath, England. What is Bath like now?
We're at the airport right now waiting for our flight to Denver and then Salt Lake City. What are your plans for the weekend? Time to board now.

You must have had a way early flight Kathy!!! It is only 8 a.m. in Texas and you are already in Denver!!! Have a great weekend!!! Hope you loved Pigeon Forge!!! Hugs Laura
I'm going to Biloxi, MS to see your sister-in-law tonight. People think I'm crazy going down there while there's a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico, but I love this kind of stuff. I'm a former meteorologist. I love severe weather.
Louisiana is going to get hit the hardest and we just going to get a lot of rain. I've been following the weather down there and making sure the casino has cancelled Marie's show. As of right now, its still a go. I'm excited to see Marie tonight. The last show of her tour. Its going to be special.
Other than that, I'm staying in and just enjoying my 3 day weekend until its time for Branson in a few weeks.
Have a safe trip home. I will see you in Branson in 3 weeks.
I have no plans for this weekend. In some areas i want to box up some things so I would just doing a little bit here and there.

My husband and oldest son went camping, so I have the house to myself basically. My youngest son is home too but he pretty much keeps to himself.
A Pastor friends wife is having a girls conference later this month and I am helping get items for some giveaways. So today I spent the better part of the day going around to local businesses getting gift cards for the conference.
Tomorrow is church, am debating which service to go to.
Kind of had a weird night tonight, ended up at a friends house for awhile.
We have no plans - just glad Paul get sa day off with all the overtime he's been working. My sister called (Saturday) and asked if weanted to come over Sunday (today) - so, if feeling better, we will go there.
Paul and I ended up going out for deep dish pizza, but at 1:30 a.m. I was up with heartburn and still up - geesh.
Enjoy the holiday weekend and hopefully the weather will hold up as today (actually yesterday) we had storms, rain, thundering and lightening and the dogs didn't like it one bit. LOL!!! (And neither did their mommy)!!
Hope you all had a wonderful time in Pigeon Forge. It is a beautiful town. Have a safe trip home! Last night we celebrated my husband birthday taking him out to dinner at "The Outback Steakhouse" restaraunt in town. Sunday is churh, rest, and planning for the week ahead. Monday is an early am breakfast at the beach we'll swim and snorkel for parts of the day! YAY!!
Hi, Kathy!
I'm staying inside because the sun will be out. I don't like the sun. Besides, my car has a flat tire.
Hi Kathy
Bath is truly beautiful. It's very popular with tourists because of it's history and beauty. The georgian architecture is stunning and as a result of all of these things, property prices are pretty high.
I would be delighted to act as your tour guide around Bath when you're in the UK for next years tour - let me know if you'd like to visit!
Love

My sister and I went to Donny's show in Wabash, IN on Saturday, it was a great time. Just spent Sunday resting up from the show. Back to work today (Monday).
It was a very long night here in Austin with all the fires. I think today will even be longer!!! Bless the Emergency Responders!!! We so need rain!!! Labor Day will be spent keeping an eye out on the fires. Luckily none are near me, but that can change in the blink of an eye.
Bath is a beautiful City Kathy. I hope to visit there again soon with my husband. The event at Pigeon Forge looked great. We had a party for my daughters 21st this weekend. Can't believe she is all grown up, she's in Aberdeen. Enjoy your reading, you are fairly getting through the books!
Kathy, didn't know where to post this but was thinking of it for a couple days. I know you are into reading in your free time while in Branson, so I have a suggestion of a book for you to read. It is titled "Endurance" the author is Alfred Lansing. It is a true story of a man, his ship and his crew. I even think Wayne would find this one interesting. If you read it let me know what you think, I absolutely loved it!!!! I cried, I cheered and felt alot in my heart for what these men went through.
