You just never know what is going to happen at an Osmond Brothers' show these days. The photo is posted below just in case you wanted to see Donny when everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to him at the show in Marion, Ohio. At every show lately there seems to be a surprise for everyone - even The Brothers.
This morning, Merrill, Jay, Wayne and I loaded on the bus at 8:30 at the hotel in Branson. Kevin, our driver, was staying there too, so that made it convenient for us. We then rode on the bus over to the Caravelle Theater and picked up Ross, Tamra and Joe. One more stop in Springfield, MO to pick up the rest of the gang - Rhett, Scott, Steve and Gene.
The bus stopped along the way for lunch at a truck stop that also had a Wendy's. Merrill came wandering in Wendy's so I took a photo since everyone was commenting on his attire.
We arrived in Ames, Iowa tonight. Wendy, Rhett's wife, mentioned to me when she was dropping Rhett off to board the bus in Springfield, that she liked looking at photos of us traveling. If I know anyone likes to look at the photos, then I'm even more motivated to take them. This is Rhett after we arrived at the hotel tonight.
It's been a very organized and fun Christmas Tour because Scott has followed through and made it all happen. He's a man of all trades - road manager, sound engineer, keyboard player, singer, etc. Some of you have asked me who is in charge when Jimmy isn't on the tour and Scott's the guy. He even agreed to get some tools and try to fix our Internet service on the bus today. Not sure that the bus driver would let him though. Ha!
Everyone has been really pleasant on the bus drives - at least as far as I know. Kevin even smiles at us when we complain about some little thing that may not be working on the bus. Kevin is also an excellent driver. So far there haven't been any fender benders or close calls. I haven't even had to hold my breath, brace myself or worry about what is going to happen next like I do sometimes when Wayne is behind the wheel.

I love your travel pictures! I was even looking at your pictures of the theater in Marion, Ohio (on my phone) while I was sitting in the theater! ~Jenny
I really enjoy looking at your photos and really appreciate your time in telling your adventures and sharing them with us. See you tomorrow!
Yea! Pictures from the road! Always so fun to look at.
Fantastic Kathy. I also love looking at your photos . Those pics of Merrill are great, so funny too. You do have a hectic schedule! Have a great mini tour x
Hi Kathy! I hope your adventures on the road have been fun!!! Happy Anniversary to you and Wayne. My friend, Missy, and I are the two ladies who brought the cut out of Donny on stage at the Marion concert! My best friends made the cut out for my birthday a few years ago. My friends and I also attended both shows at Findlay the next evening. We were the ones who threw the Depends on the stage for Wayne!!! Sure hope he got a kick out of it! That 7:30 concert was a dream come true! The brothers totally changed around the concert for "the girls in the front row"!!! Thanks, guys! Merry Christmas, Kathy!!!!!!
Hi Kathy! I hope the remainder of the Christmas tour goes well for everyone! My friend, Missy, and I are the two ladies in the photo with the Donny cut-out! My two best friends "made" it for me for my 50th birthday a few years ago! Yes, you are right! There have been quite a few surprises at the concerts!! The brothers totally changed the 7:30 show in Findlay, Ohio to sing their wonderful songs from the 70's for the "girls in the front row". How awesome is that? We were the ones behind throwing the Depends on stage in honor of Wayne's crazy joke!!! Hope he enjoyed it as much as we did! Enjoy your precious family this holiday! Choose joy!!!!!!!

Yep I do too - I always feel closest to your family the most because you share with us the most! And I know I am not speaking for myself when I say we all love you so much more for sharing and making us a part of your lives - I come home from work wanting to go hide in my dormer to get away from people, but by coming to your blog and my Osmond FB sites, I realize that we are lonely for one big thing no one else can give - Osmond Love! There is nothing else like it! And yes, Merrill was taken well care of the other night at the Findlay Inn - "I have to get this fellow to bed .. . ." and he was pushing off toward the elevator! I sure do hope he and all of you felt our love - cos we sure do love yours! Have a good weekend and try to get some rest in between cities - this is a heavy traveling schedule I know! I will be praying for you all!
Safe travels and our Lord bless you all till we see each other again. Love you!!
Kathy. We all enjoy your pictures from the road. Its like our personal behind the scene person. I guess the guys are outnumbered with taking their pictures all the time. LOL
I hope the show was great tonight.
I'm defiantly enjoying your photos. They are fab
