Marie Loves Her Fans

Marie was the grand marshall of Hollywood's 80th Christmas Parade last night. Marie stopped for the fans to take photos and give autographs.

Marie said," I love that a tradition is still here after 80 years, that people still support it. I love anything that supports children and the holidays."

Marie was excited to be a part of the day benefiting Marine Toys For Tots, which helps disadvantaged children during the holidays.

One Bad Apple!

We're off again this morning, headed to Branson. It was nice to spend some time at home for Thanksgiving. Wayne, Merrill and Jay start the Christmas shows again tomorrow night. Maybe we'll see some of you there?

Thank you for clarifying the fruit Julie! Julie says that it is called Hedge Apple. It's a good thing we didn't eat it! It was nasty tasting and too bitter to eat, so I'm not surprised that it isn't Bread Fruit. I would assume that Bread Fruit is tasty because it's a staple food in some countries. Has anyone ever eaten Bread Fruit?

I GOBBLED 'TILL I WOBBLED!!! My mom fixed Thanksgiving dinner for my Dad, Wayne and I. I knew I missed her Thanksgiving meals but now I really know how much! I sure didn't miss going out to eat again this year. All the kids and grandkids went to the in-laws so we had a party the night before with the kids and grandkids that live in Utah. Michelle posted this wonderful thought on the refrigerator that Joe's mom, Kathy, gave them.

"What if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday?"

We Got It Right!

Wayne and I got home in time to watch the final show of "Dancing With the Stars" tonight. You all guessed right on the poll! Congratulations!

As soon as we crossed the state line and drove into Utah the landscape changed. Utah has it's own beauty and we love it here! Wayne stopped along the way so we could share some photos with you.
